If your school would like to become an approved training provider of
education or training that leads to a specific occupational or professional
degree or certificate, youre in the right place.
How to Become an Occupational Skills Approved Training Provider:
Your school must have been in business in Utah for at
least one year from the date you apply for approval. And with the exception of
Title IV institutions and government agencies, your school must be registered
or registered as exempt as a postsecondary proprietary school with the Utah
Division of Consumer Protection
.
Determine which application type matches your school
or organization.
Are you a postsecondary institution that is eligible to receive federal
funds under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965? Application A
Are you registered as a proprietary school with the Utah Division of Consumer
Protection OR an approved facility with the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation
OR a government agency? Application B
Are you registered as exempt from registration as a proprietary school with the
Utah Division of Consumer Protection? Application C
Mail the completed application with the required documents to:

Your completed application will be sent to
the Regional and State Council for approval or denial. The application process
may take 90 days or more to complete. DWS cannot pay for any costs incurred prior to approval.
Placement of your school's information on our Occupational Skills Approved Provider
List
will occur. DWS customers will choose which school best meets their
needs and contact you if chosen.
