National Emergency Grant for workers displaced from ATK Launch Systems

Overview:  The Utah Dept of Workforce Services (DWS) was awarded a National Emergency Grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to provide assistance to individuals displaced from ATK.

Purpose:  DWS may provide training, re-employment and/or support services to workers displaced from ATK from April 2009 to present.  Training services will focus on: classroom training, on-the-job training and apprenticeships in Occupations in Demand that will lead to employment.  Training programs are not to exceed two years.  DWS expects to train 200 individuals.
