DWS & Utah Business Magazine To Acknowledge Utah’s Best Employers

The Utah Department of Workforce Services and the Office of Child Care are pleased to announce a newly formed partnership with Utah Business Magazine to acknowledge Utah’s best employers.

The purpose of the partnership is to merge the Department of Workforce Services’ Work/Life Awards and the Utah Business Magazine’s Best Companies to Work For award. DWS will provide a strong nomination, review and research methodology. Utah Business Magazine will co-sponsor the award by featuring the 2005 Best Companies to Work For in the May 2005 issue of their magazine.

"We're delighted to partner with the Department of Workforce Services to honor Utah's "Best Companies to Work For," said Martin Lewis, publisher of Utah Business. "The Department of Workforce Services' great integrity, rigorous application and research process, combined with Utah Business' brand strength and credibility of its annual "Best Companies to Work For"

feature, will expand the combined awards ability to honor and better serve Utah's business community.

The Best Companies to Work For seeks to recognize and honor those companies that go above and beyond normal business operations to create a sustainable workplace culture that provides meaningful support to employees, their families and their communities.
