The Community and Veterans Job Fair will take place on Thursday,
June 22, 2006 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Davis Applied Technology College,
550 East 300 South, Kaysville, Utah. The event is free to the public.
This event will begin with a special program to recognize our Veterans from
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All Veterans are invited to attend this program.
The job fair opens at 3:00 p.m. and will end at 7:00 p.m. The Job Fair is open
to the general public as well as area veterans.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with 100 top employers &
federal contractors offering more than 500 employment opportunities in Davis,
Salt Lake, Weber, and Utah Counties, as well as opportunities in Vernal Utah,
and Evanston and Rock Springs Wyoming. Representatives from the State of Utah
Department of Human Resource Management will also be in attendance with employment
opportunities with the State of Utah.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a current résumé and dressed
appropriately to talk with employers.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the 33 training programs
available at the Davis Applied Technology College and attend mini workshop for
many fields of study.
