Salt Lake City – In celebration of Women’s History
month the Utah Commission for Women & Families will present the Utah Women’s
Achievement Awards to exemplary Utah women. A special award ceremony will be
held at the downtown Salt Lake City Library auditorium on Thursday March 29,
2007. The public is welcome to attend.
The commission is searching for Utah Women who have worked to improve the opportunities
for young people, especially teenagers, in our state. Areas of contribution
include education, careers, life skills, afterschool programs, and youth organizations.
Nominations will be accepted until February 15, 2007. Interested parties
