DWS and the Salt Lake & Tooele Employer Committee present Business Seminar

Salt Lake City - The Department of Workforce Services and the Salt Lake & Tooele Employer Committee will present a business seminar entitled Influencer: “The Power to Change Anything.” Based on the new book, “Influencer” by the writers of the New York Times best seller, “Crucial Conversations,” Kerry Patterson, Joseph Grenny, David Maxfield, and Ron McMillan, “Influencer” draws from the skills of hundreds of successful influencers and from the best social science research. The presenter is Mr. Neil Staker, Vital Smarts Certified Master Trainer. Mr. Staker will share principles for changing thoughts and actions, for identifying vital behaviors that lead to improvements, and bypassing ineffective verbal efforts in favor of powerful experiences that change minds.

The seminar will be held at the Little America Hotel Ballroom, 500 South Main Street in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM. The cost is $32 per participant, which includes luncheon. This seminar is co-sponsored by UPS.
