Business leaders from around the state will enjoy four exciting best practice workshops. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., workshops begin at 10:00 a.m., and the Award Celebration and lunch begin at noon. Best Practice workshops include: Coaching - Its Not Just for CEOs Anymore; Maximizing Recruiting Resources; Crucial Conversations; and Flexible Scheduling. For the tenth consecutive year, this Award will recognize companies that are creating exceptional workplaces and businesses by effectively addressing employee work/life needs. The Work/Life Awards honor employers that listen to employees and strive to create and maintain a culture of equity and opportunity in the workplace. The Awards Celebration is a great opportunity for winners, finalists, and other businesses to share those best practices and work toward continual improvement. For the first time ever, a few select companies will also receive the Work/Life Legacy status, signaling that they have won the Award five times and are committed to collaborating with other companies striving to create exceptional workplaces.
