Charlene Johnson, Family Employment Plan (FEP), WIA and Food Stamp client, is a 52-year-old widow raising a teenage son, has overcome multiple barriers to achiever her goal of becoming an LPN. She attended Bridgerland Applied Technology College (BATC) and Utah State University, graduating in the top of her class from BATC in May 2003. She has her temporary LPN license and is in the process of taking her final licensing exam.
