LAID-OFF WORKERS
Response to Lay Offs – Rapid Response Services help employers and workers facing layoff or closure situations.
Laid-Off Workers – The Dislocated Worker Program provides core services and may provide intensive and training services to workers who have been laid off or has received notice of a pending layoff.
Lay Offs from Trade Policies – The Trade Act Program assists workers who have lost their jobs because of imports from or shifts in production to other countries.
Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services – The Worker Profiling System identifies workers receiving Unemployment Insurance who are likely to exhaust their benefits, and offers Reemployment Services such as job search assistance to help workers transition to new employment.
