Clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. May educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop X-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.

This occupation will experience much faster than average employment growth with a moderate volume of annual job openings. Business expansion, as opposed to the need for replacements, will be the source of the majority of job openings in the coming decade.

Requires a license in the State of Utah.
