Physical Disabilities
The Physical Disabilities Program helps people live at
home rather in an institution (like a nursing home). These customers will
get services not generally available to other Medicaid customers, such as
personal care assistance, consumer training, and personal emergency response
services. Applications are taken through the Division of Services for
People with Disabilities
(DSPD). This program may not be available in all areas of the
state.
