Medicaid Work Incentive Program (MWI)

The Medicaid Work Incentive Program (MWI) covers people with disabilities who are working. If your household's net income is below 100% of poverty, you will not have to pay a premium for MWI. If your household's net income is between 100% of poverty and 250% of poverty, you will pay a MWI premium equal to 15% of your income.

How to Qualify:

Your net income (after deductions like a $20 income deduction and a portion of your earned income are taken out) must not be more than 250% of poverty.

You must meet the asset limit of $15,000.
