Nursing Home Medicaid covers nursing home and other medical costs.
How to Qualify:
Income and asset requirements are different depending on whether you are staying in the nursing home short term (less than 6 months) or long term and whether you are single or married. Ask your worker for the pamphlet "Nursing Home Information: May we be of Service to you" and for married couples request "Assessment of assets" for more detailed information.
