Prenatal Program (PN)
The Prenatal Program (PN) covers pregnant women from the date they apply
through 60 days after the birth of the baby.
How to Qualify:
Your net income (after certain deductions like a $90
work allowance and child care expenses have been taken out) must not be more
than 133% of the Federal Poverty Level. Once you qualify, you are covered until 60 days
after the birth of your baby and your baby gets Medicaid through the month of
his/her first birthday under the Postnatal Program (PN+).You must meet the asset limit of $5,000. If you have more than
$5,000 in assets, you may pay a co-payment equal to 4% of the total
assets.
