Medical for Refugees
The Refugee Resettlement Program (RRP) covers refugees for up to 8 months
beginning with the month of the date of entry.
How to Qualify:
You must not be able to get Medicaid or CHIP.
You must meet a refugee immigration status.
Give the name of your resettlement agency.
You must not be a full-time student in higher education (like a university,
college or technical school), unless approved by the state as part of your
employment plan. An employment plan lists the steps you need to take to
find and keep a job and is agreed on by you and your employment
counselor.
