Youth Services

What makes you eligible?

• Must be a citizen of the Unites States or an employment eligible non-citizen.
• You must be 14 to 21 years of age.
• Must possess an official form of identification.
• Income must meet the low income criteria.
• You must have problems that make it hard for you to stay in school or to get and keep a job.

The following services are offered:

Educational

• Tutoring
• Alternative school

Career

• Education beyond high school
• Unpaid work internships
• Paid work internships
• Summer jobs for young people

Support

• Mentoring (an older person assigned to talk with and help you)
• Developing your qualities as a leader
• Counseling for mood problems, drug problems, and problems of violence at home
• Money for other things you need to reach the goals on your employment plan
• Follow up activities
