Youth Services
Participation
After receiving services, you should be able to do the
following:
- Find a job or apprenticeship or enroll in education
beyond high school, or attend advanced training, or join the military
- Get a high school diploma, GED or certificate
- Improve your skills
in reading, language and/or math
For Intensive and Training services, you will be required to do
the following:
- Complete the activities in the employment plan you
write with an employment counselor
- Follow the plan and make progress toward achieving
goals
- Stay in touch with your employment counselor
- Post-secondary training (job skills training)
- Choose a job that is in demand
- Choose a provider from the DWS Approved Training
Provider List
- Finish training as soon as possible
