Teen Afterschool

The Office of Work and Family Life provides afterschool grants to organization offering programs to teens during out of school time.  The teen programs focus on prevention.  Programs select two of the following prevention components to focus their program around:  career exploration, healthy body/lifestyles, financial literacy, healthy interpersonal relationships, tobacco/drug/alcohol abuse prevention, prevention of violence/gang affiliation, and pregnancy/STI prevention.

Funding for Teen Afterschool Programs is typically released through a Request for Grant (RFG).
