- Parents may choose a provider that best meets their
family's needs. Providers must meet minimum health and safety standards
established.
- The amount of child care subsidy is determined based on several factors
and may not cover the total cost of child care; parents are responsible to pay
child care providers for all costs incurred.
Do you have a special needs child?
Child care assistance is available for eligible employed parents who
have children with disabilities. Child care is available through the month
the child turns 18 years of age.
Additional supports are available for children with special child care
needs in facilities where typically developing children receive care.
