Welcome to the Refugee Working Group Web site. The purpose of the Refugee Working Group is to review the present refugee resettlement system, review the system’s gaps and strengths, and recommend possible solutions or enhancements to the system.
Over the past year, there have been several opportunities for refugees, refugee services providers, and other interested parties to provide input about refugee-related issues. The purpose of this working group is to identify solutions and improve services to refugees in Utah. The Refugee Working Group will work intensely over a short period of time and will submit recommendations on or before June 30, 2007.
The Web site will contain information about working group meetings as well as general information about the refugee resettlement system. We also invite your comments about the process, ideas on how to improve the refugee resettlement system, what is working well, or information about resources you would like us to be aware of.
