The Utah Department of Workforce Service can also test for clerical skills, including typing, dictation and spelling.

Using your selection criteria, the Utah Department of Workforce Services applicant files are searched to find applicants most nearly meeting your requirements. Selected applicants are reviewed by a professional employment counselor and those best suited to your needs are referred to you for your consideration. You establish the number of applicants you wish to see and what special requirements you desire. The Utah Department of Workforce Services will not burden you with extra applicants or with those lacking your special requirements. You meet with the applicants individually, and the decision whether or not to hire is, of course, up to you.
