Eagle Award Winners Go Above and Beyond to Support Veterans

The Department of Workforce Services has hundreds of individuals who are dedicated to helping veterans access the resources they need in order to find employment, but there are a few who go above and beyond to serve veterans.


Each year five individuals are honored for their extraordinary efforts to serve veterans in their community, and receive an Eagle Award. Their efforts have made a great impact on the veterans they have served.


The Eagle Award winners for 2018 are:


Tim Olson

Tim works in the Provo office and recently assisted a Navy veteran named Sean find transportation and dress for an important interview. Sean was on the brink of eviction and had no available  transportation.. When Sean was called for in for an interview in Draper, Tim helped him find transportation from Provo to Draper. He also helped Sean improve his attire for the event. Because of Tim’s help, Sean was offered the job right after the interview.
