This time of year our thoughts turn inward as we recall what we’re grateful for, but they also turn outward to the needs of others. We see an outpouring of generosity from thousands of Utahns in the form of helping at soup kitchens, volunteering for various causes, and donations of food, clothing, or toys for children.
While it is our duty to reach out to help those in need, I believe we can enrich our experience helping others if we change the perception of exactly what that means.More...
Utah’s economy shows continued positive growth: Jobs for November
2014 grew by an estimated 3.3 percent, adding 43,400 jobs to the economy as
compared to November 2013. Utah’s current employment level registers 1,360,800.
November’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained
unchanged, registering at 3.6 percent Approximately 51,400 Utahns were
unemployed in the month and actively seeking work.More...
