The Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) recognizes its obligation to taxpayers and customers to maintain the highest ethical standards in its operations. To help meet this goal, DWS has established this confidential reporting mechanism. Via the Hotline, you can alert us to activities that may involve waste or misuse of public funds, property, or manpower; violations of laws, regulations, policies, procedures, contracts, or grant agreements; unethical conduct, or abuse of authority.
Our Commitment
Reports submitted via that Hotline will be handled as promptly and discretely as possible, with the facts made available only to those who need to know to investigate and resolve the matter. Due to the nature of certain claims, DWS may be limited with respect to the action(s) it may be able to take in response to a report if the reporter does not wish to make his or her identity known. However, all reports submitted will be carefully reviewed. There will be no retaliation against anyone when in good faith he or she files a report.
