Utah’s occupational projections provide essential information for individuals making career selections, policy makers determining training funding streams and educators shaping curriculum choices. Projections cover a 10-year time frame and are completed every two years. For comparability purposes, Utah’s projection period matches that of the current set of United States projections. Although the base year may appear dated, the most up-to-date information available was used in completing the Utah projection figures. Occupational trends have remained relatively stable over time. Projections are provided for both the state as a whole and nine geographic projections area.
