Coincident Economic Activity Index
A coincident index is intended to show the current state of economic activity in a region. The Coincident Economic Activity Index (below) is published by the Philadelphia Fed and includes four indicators: nonfarm payroll employment, the unemployment rate, average hours worked in manufacturing and wages and salaries.
