Eligible Training Provider Application

If you represent a school, college or university and would like to become an eligible training provider of adult education, occupational skills or post-secondary education, please proceed with this application.

Students: This is not the correct application for you to complete. Please visit jobs.utah.gov/career, then select the link for the training support you need, click "How to Apply" and then "Apply Now".

Registered Apprenticeships: If your school offers Registered Apprenticeship training and has a sponsoring employer, do not complete this application. Instead email dws_trainingproviders@utah.gov for assistance.

Background

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), passed by Congress in July 2014, requires training providers to share performance, cost and program details to help students make informed choices. WIOA governs the requirements for schools to become eligible for funding from the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) participants.

Apply for Eligibility

To initiate an initial eligibility determination for the Eligible Training Provider List you must submit an application for your school and one program.  If you meet the above requirements, click here to start the appliication process.

After you complete the initial application, a DWS representative will email you regarding the next steps. Once all requirements are completed, it may take up to 45 days to approve.

Please note that DWS cannot pay for any costs incurred prior to approval.
