Weatherization Assistance Program

Application Information

You may be eligible if your gross annual household income is at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty level or if you are a current HEAT program recipient. Plus, your household must include at least one adult who is a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen

Cost

If you are a homeowner, there is no cost to you. If you rent, your landlord may need to pay an elected portion of the cost.

How to Apply

The State of Utah is served by eight agencies. To apply for weatherization assistance, please contact the agency that services the county where you live. Your application will then be prioritized, based on the information provided, and put on a waiting list.
