About the Office of Child Care

The office of Child Care addresses the need for quality child care in Utah, which promotes the safety and healthy development of children while supporting working parents. We have a comprehensive system of child care resources for parents, including support for preschool and afterschool programs. We also support child care providers to improve the quality of their services for Utah’s children.

The work of the Office of Child Care is supported by several boards and commissions. Meeting times, agendas, minutes and audio of meetings can be found on the Office of Child Care website.
