We actively participate with and engage our community partners to strengthen Utah’s quality of life. By collaborating on initiatives and providing grant opportunities, we are able to support our partners to meet common goals. Our community partners also provide guidance and support by serving on our boards and committees.
American Job Center Partner Referral System
American Job Center Partners should use the Partner Referral System developed by the Utah Department of Workforce Services to refer individuals to services and respond to referrals from other partners.
Community Impact Board
Provides loans or grants to state agencies and subdivisions of the state that are socially or economically impacted by mineral resource development on federal lands.
Employment Advisory Council
Advises the department in reducing and preventing unemployment, encouraging vocational training and developing job opportunities.
Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities
Supports business partners in hiring and retaining individuals with disabilities through disability awareness training and, accommodation assistance.
Office of Child Care Advisory Committee
Discusses current issues of child care and advises on the development of statewide child care policies and procedures.
Refugee Services Advisory Board
Supports improving the services offered to refugees in Utah and tackling issues that currently affect them and those newly arriving from around the globe.
Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired Advisory Board
Supports the Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired to empower those individuals and help them achieve the highest levels of employment and quality of life.
State Rehabilitation Council
Ensures quality vocational rehabilitation services by reviewing programs, analyzing service delivery processes, and advising on policies and procedures.
State Workforce Development Board
Coordinates and aligns Utah’s workforce programs to effectively prepare a talent-ready workforce that meet employer needs.
Utah Homeless Services Board
Directs state and federal funds to homeless and housing service providers throughout the state.
