Welcome to the Department of Workforce Services, Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. Our staff of more than 400 employees is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment, community integration and independent living.

We have proudly served individuals with disabilities for nearly a century through a variety of services, including vocational rehabilitation. Our clients vary from youth to adults as we help them successfully transition into adulthood and prepare for the workforce. We also educate Utah businesses on disability issues and connect them with our job-ready clients.

For Utahns who are blind or visually impaired, or deaf or hard of hearing, we provide specialized centers for services and training that also serve as places to gather as a community. In addition, we determine eligibility for Social Security disability benefits recipients, and educate our clients on how their benefits work.

We reach many Utahns with more than 30 locations statewide and serve as many as 50,000 individuals a year. Our website is a great starting place to learn more about our services. Please contact us or visit one of our locations if you or someone you know is in need of our services.
