Utah City Population Estimates
In 2018, South Jordan was the twelfth-fastest growing large city (with 50,000 population or greater) in the nation according to U.S. Census Bureau population estimates. While South Jordan was the only Utah city to make the “top 15” list, a few less-populated cities grew even faster. Small Vineyard (located in Utah County) showed a population expansion of nearly 63 percent. On the other hand, Herriman added the largest number of new Utah residents in 2018 (roughly 5,600), far more than the largest Utah cities. The following visualization shows the details for all of Utah’s incorporated cities and towns.
