General Information:

The Department of Workforce Services, Office of Homeless Services (DWS-OHS), is inviting session proposals from industry experts for its upcoming conference. We are seeking 11 high-quality sessions that offer valuable insights, showcase diverse perspectives, and highlight innovative strategies. Proposals may be submitted in one of four formats: symposium, interactive workshop, panel discussion, or poster presentation. Detailed descriptions of each session format are available here. All proposals will be reviewed and selected based on their relevance and impact. To submit, please refer to the session format guidelines below. Submissions are due by 5:00pm MDT July 11, 2025.

Submissions are welcome from anyone with relevant skills, experience, or expertise that can contribute to making homelessness in Utah rare, brief, and non-recurring. We especially encourage proposals from individuals with lived expertise, as well as those presenting research, data, or evidence-based practices.

Applicants will be notified of their proposal status by 5:00 PM on July 18, 2025. All submitters will receive a response, regardless of selection outcome. Selected speakers will also receive detailed information about available audio-visual support and presentation logistics at that time.
