Attainable Housing Grants (AHG)

In the 2023 General Legislative Session, the Utah Department of Workforce Services, Office of Homeless Services (DWS-OHS), received $5 million in ongoing funding to establish the Attainable Housing Grants (AHG) program. The AHG program aims to provide approximately 400 units of deeply affordable housing with a monthly rental subsidy. This funding is targeted at households earning 30% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI). To be eligible for the AHG subsidized units, clients must have access to case management supportive services offered by the project. However, it's important to note that the AHG program does not cover the costs of supportive case management services directly.
