
The Robert G. Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing celebrates its 30th anniversary on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
The rich history of the center dates back to 1946 when Robert G. Sanderson and other Deaf advocates dreamed of a center where the community could meet. In April 2022, SB238 was signed by Gov. Cox and Lt. Gov. Henderson. This $55 million housing bill addresses homelessness, affordable housing, and wraparound services. Through our Office of Homeless Services and Housing and Community Development Division, along with community partners, these funds will make a real difference in helping Utahns to transition out of homelessness.
