On Friday night, we will open our celebration with a host of family-friendly activities, food trucks, global market vendors, and a special film screening of Disney and Pixar’s Elemental, starting at 9 p.m.

On Saturday, our full celebration will start at 11 a.m. with performances by refugees, volleyball and soccer tournaments, youth soccer clinics, food trucks, a global market, kids' activities, and special guest speakers highlighting members of our local refugee community, as well as opportunities to serve refugees. 

Whether attending for one or both days, be sure to come hungry, because there will be a host of food vendors that are a part of the International Rescue Committee's Spice Kitchen Incubator program. Come taste the different flavors the world has to offer and support refugees working towards establishing their own culinary businesses. After exploring a world of flavors, stop by our Global Market, where more than a dozen refugee business owners showcase cultural wares, clothing, arts, and jewelry. From customized designs from talented henna artists to handmade jewelry, baskets, and carvings, there are treasures for the full family.

This event is a family event, so bring the kids to enjoy all the fun! Kids can enjoy face painting, crafts, bounce houses, ice blocking, film screenings, soccer clinics, interactions with goats, and so much more. We can’t wait to see you there!
