Can Vocational Rehabilitation help you achieve your  independence and employment goals?

Yes? Then VR may be right for you. No? VR is a program for people with disabilities. To qualify, you must have a disability that makes it difficult to either get a job or keep a job. 

2. Does your disability make it hard for you to get and keep a job or participant in an education program?

Yes? Then VR may be right for you. No? To qualify for VR services, you must have a disability that makes it difficult to either get a job or keep a job. This also includes youth who might need help to successfully transition from high school to adulthood, independence, and employment.

3. Do you want to work?

Yes? Then VR may be right for you. No? VR helps people with disabilities navigate their unique barriers and launch meaningful careers.

4. Do you have the time and interest to engage in the process of finding employment?

Yes? Then VR may be right for you. No? The vocational rehabilitation process takes time. It involves determining eligibility, developing an individualized plan for employment , which could include training to give you the skills you need to achieve your job goal and then job searching.
